TFSN is a community project run by Dieanic and published at tfsn.gg. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, TFSN is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at dieanic.contact@gmail.com.

Browsing the site

You can read every public page, including the Dashboard, Events, Teams, Players, and Compare, without an account and without telling us anything about yourself. As you browse, we collect aggregate analytics: the page path you viewed, the site you arrived from, an approximate country and region, and your browser, operating system, and device type. This information is not linked to you and cannot be used to identify you. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs for security and operational purposes.

Creating an account

Signing up asks for three things and nothing else:

• A username. This is public if you are linked to a player profile.
• An email address. Used to confirm your account, reset your password, and contact you about your account. It is never shown publicly.
• A password. Stored only as a hash by our authentication provider. We never see it and cannot recover it.

We do not ask for your name, date of birth, address, phone number, or payment details, because the site does not need them.

Claiming a player profile

If you are a competitive player, you can claim your profile. This is optional and every claim is reviewed manually by an administrator. When you claim a profile we collect the verification details you write in the claim form, which stay private and are visible only to administrators.

Once a claim is approved you can add optional public content to your profile: a biography, X, Twitch or YouTube links, your hardware, sensitivity, personal sponsor, and character. Every one of these fields is optional and written by you, and you can clear any of them at any time. We keep an append-only record of who changed a profile and when, so edits can be reviewed.

Data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for each use of your data. Ours are:

• Performance of a contract. Your username, email address, and password hash are needed to provide the account you asked us for, including confirming your email and letting you sign in.
• Consent. Anything you choose to publish on a claimed player profile. You add it, you edit it, and you can withdraw it by clearing the field or asking us to remove it.
• Legitimate interests. Aggregate analytics and server logs, so we can understand which pages are used and keep the site secure and available. Because this data is aggregate and not linked to you, the impact on your privacy is minimal, and we do not use it to build a profile of you or to advertise to you.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and this site has no cookie banner because there is nothing stored on your device to ask you about.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is deliberately limited in what it can do:

• It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your device’s local storage.
• It uses no cross-site or advertising identifiers, so your activity here cannot be linked to your activity on any other website.
• Visitors are counted using a temporary hash derived from the incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours. Your IP address is not stored.
• The analytics requests go to this domain rather than to a third-party ad network.

The one exception is signing in. When you log in, your session is stored in cookies. These are strictly necessary to keep you logged in, are not used for tracking or analytics, and are cleared when you sign out.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We use three service providers, who process data only on our instructions:

• Vercel: hosting, content delivery, and web analytics. Server functions run in Frankfurt. Their privacy policy.
• Supabase: the database that stores accounts and profile content, and the authentication service that handles passwords and sessions. Their privacy policy.
• Resend: delivery of the account confirmation and password reset emails. Their privacy policy.

We may also disclose data if we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect the site and its users from abuse.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove it along with the profile content you added. Claim records and administrative audit history are retained while the related account exists so that profile ownership decisions remain reviewable.

Analytics data is aggregate and is not linked to any individual, so it cannot be retrieved, corrected, or deleted on a per-person basis.

If you are in the UK or the EEA, you have the right to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent at any time for the optional profile content you publish.

You can exercise most of these yourself: your username and profile fields are editable from your account, and you can ask us to delete the account entirely. For anything else, email dieanic.contact@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

TFSN publishes competitive statistics, tournament results, and event history for professional THE FINALS players. This information comes from competition results and official tournament material, and is published in the public interest as competition reporting. It is separate from the account data described above and remains part of the historical record.

If you are a player and you believe something published about you is inaccurate, email us and we will review it. Profile photos and team logos are operator-managed and are published only where we have a recorded rights basis.

TFSN is not directed at children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and move the “last updated” date at the top. Significant changes affecting account holders will be announced on the site.
